Fusion Health possesses the experience to lead across a wide range of strategic development and review projects with individual partners all capable of leading in such matters. We will always ensure, as for any project, that the individual with the most relevant experience for any one project is identified to our clients.
Fusion Health has the capability and flexibility to review and develop services from individual departments and specialties requiring rapid transition through to implementation of National strategy across whole organisations. Such flexibility allows us to develop ongoing relationships with clients as their requirements expand and progress and our ability to confidently cover a wide range of review scenarios allows us to integrate such reviews into whole systems analysis.
Previous experience within Fusion Health encompasses healthcare systems analysis and development across both regions within and the whole of Wales as well as in numerous primary and secondary care environments within England where a joint approach across both health and social care provision was required. Such analysis is often accompanied by activity and capacity modelling and analysis to support and "evidence base" recommendations and systems analyses.
Fusion Health supplies extensive experience of adopting new models of care, incorporating research and experience of best practice whilst at the same time ensuring that the views of those personnel at the client who are most experienced and form the core body of stakeholders are fully taken into account. We adopt an approach of ensuring that there is a clear audit trail in terms of the consultation and option appraisal process that culminates in new model of care proposals and that the implications of such change can be clearly articulated both in terms of service change and financial consequences where required.
All partners at Fusion Health have extensive experience in the development and production of business cases from strategic outline to full business case. We are very familiar with the variety of formats and methodologies used throughout the UK. We operate on a basis that allows the client flexibility in deciding how we may support them, from assistance in developing some aspects of the case such as option development and appraisal through to the complete production process. This flexibility, coupled with our project management experience affords our clients the opportunity to allocate its own resources to such projects based on availability and experience. In addition, we are adept at rapid review and appraisal of existing business cases. These may be in final form or requiring completion and updating to assist our clients in those cases where the process may have stalled.
We conduct estates reviews either on a stand-alone basis or as part of a wider integrated service review and offer assessment of suitability and functionality through programmes such as the six facet review process. Such processes can be combined with our experience in equipment provision and review or with our whole systems development expertise to offer a wide ranging set of resources to assist our clients in developing their strategic direction.
Developing commissioning strategies forms an integral element of Fusion Health´s portfolio, our emphasis being in supporting strategic developments such as world class commissioning on a continuing basis. Our experience encompasses best practice, evidence based development, financial implications of change and support through the process of commissioning development.
